Workshop Description

This workshop explores the use of ChatGPT to enhance data analytics workflows. Designed to streamline and improve data analytics capabilities, it will provide participants with hands-on experience in applying generative AI to various data analytics tasks. Topics will include gaining insights from data sets and automating processes using ChatGPT.

  • Introduction to ChatGPT in Data Analytics: Gain a foundational understanding of ChatGPT's capabilities and its potential impact on data-driven tasks.
  • Data Analysis Automation: Learn how to use ChatGPT to automate repetitive tasks, streamline data preprocessing, and generate insights from data sets.
  • Enhancing Analytical Workflows: Explore how ChatGPT can improve traditional data analytics methods, making workflows more efficient and effective.

Biography

Tulay Flamand is an Assistant Professor of Business Analytics at the University of Colorado Denver Business School. Her primary research focuses on business analytics applications to interdisciplinary areas, with a particular emphasis on retail analytics, and the development of exact and heuristic solution methodologies to achieve optimal and/or near-optimal solutions for complex combinatorial optimization problems. She teaches several courses, including Data Analytics for Managers and Management of Operations, where she introduced the use of ChatGPT to enhance learning and analytics practice.
